Impact of warm ups and rehearsal plan for my solo performance

  My warm ups have had a great impact on my final solos performance for Unit 27. The warm up exercises I’ve chosen actively apply to what needs improvement within my vocal technique. A consistent warm up plan carefully ensures that I can sing safely and won’t be damaging any of my muscles in my voice or larynx. It becomes so evident when I haven’t warmed up my voice properly as you can hear a strain while I’m singing and makes my notes and tone quality become almost forceful. I also think my voice sounds a lot healthier and clearer and I can definitely tell the difference in my voice from when it has been warmed up compared to just straight singing. A practical warm up is  beneficial especially when I’m focusing on my annunciation and breath control.
