How effective was your warmup plan? Reflect upon the process in order to make your future warmups more effective.
I think my warmup plan is fairly effective as I begin with warming up the voice then move on to the body. Starting off with the humming is significant because it doesn’t strain the vocal cords and allows them to resonate freely and the 1, 2, 3 exercise just warms the voice up so it is healthy and protected from any damage. Laying on your back is beneficial because it forces you to breathe through your diaphragm. It is also important to relax your shoulders before and during singing to ensure you’re not straining any muscles especially when singing higher notes.
